Designer Ian Murchison noticed how the mobile phone market was suddenly shifting to sliders and thought, "hmm, what if a personal media player utilized the same design". As he worked away furiously in the night, a ghost came to him and inspired the Slideon. Okay I totally made that up but Murchison did design a PMP player called the Slideon. The pictures are pretty self explanatory - smooth clean design, screen on top, basic nav controls down below, flash based memory and audio jack for recharging.
