Green is Comfy

This thing just looks so incredibly comfy! Rafael Fernández Sánchez is the designer of this "Natural World" inspired rest surface which is divided into two layers. The green section is what makes it special, it's separated into 12 mobile pieces that allows the user to utilize them in unlimited ways. Simply irresistible! Get me one.

Everyone's favorite dueling spy duo, Spy vs. Spy, are making their way from the pages of Mad Magazine onto a new limited edition sneaker.
Inspired by the classic comic, Puma and Boston-based boutique Bodega got together to create a special shoe based on Puma's classic Sky II Hi silhouette, aptly named the Spy II Hi. Made of premium leather, I especially like the translucent outsoles embedded with the iconic black and white spy characters.
In keeping with the theme, there are hidden messages on the shoe and even a stash pocket holding a top secret message for decoding. A limited number of pairs will be released on Saturday, 23 February 2008, at only a handful of stores.

Fatbear USB

I've always had this fascination with decapitating bear heads (hence the dozens of slaughtered gummi's in my lifetime), but this USB drive called Fatbear takes the cake. They come in several bright colors and a sense of humor. When removing the bear head, not only do you find your standard USB dongle, but it's actually a little guy in a bear costume. CUTE! At $34 a pop for just 256 MB, it's a pit pricey considering my ordinary 1 GIG flash drive was only $20, but for those that like to indulge in design at the expense of cost, be my guest.

This Puzzle Hurts My Brain

I first heard about the ISIS puzzle a few weeks ago and sorta dismissed it because, it's just another brain teasing puzzle. Boy was I wrong! For one, this mofo is the hardest puzzle I have EVER tried to solve. My friend brags to me he's sorta deciphered the strange glyphs but then again, IT IS HIS BALL and he's had more time with it. I'll say this, Wikipedia came in real handy in uncovering the meaning of the hieroglyphics. Once you've correctly aligned the glyphs, the ball opens to reveal a key with a code on it. That key leads to ISIS pyramids spread throughout the UK containing real cash prizes! Although the contest ended awhile ago, you can now order an authentic ISIS Puzzle Ball. There's a slim chance someone else can give you the correct solution to solve yours since the company has made sure to manufacture balls with millions of possible combinations. I'm telling you - this is a great gift for that astute and intellectual friend. It's a little pricey at £99 ($185), but the ball is exquisitely made from alloy and comes in a gorgeous wooden box with a lacquer finish.

Pronto

Let’s face it, using an ordinary condom is a real pain in the butt. First, you have to tear the pack open, often using your teeth. Then you have to take the condom out of the pack – this is a slippery business at the best of times. Next, you have to figure out which is the right side up, before you can unroll it. By the time the condom’s on, the mood is halfway out the window...

Look Ma! No Hands!

The Stokke Gravity balans chair is the first chair of its kind to simulate zero gravity in multiple seating positions. Although technically, gravity is still there, the design uses your own weight as a counter balance making it feel as if your're floating in the chair - whether upright to get some work done or reclined for a quick nap. People, please make sure you only attempt this with this particular chair. I promise you it will not work if you attempt it in the chair you're sitting in now. Trust me, I just tried. Ouch! hahaz...

Bone Rings

I know the title is sorta convoluted so let me explain. Biojewellry is an attempt at merging jewelry design with science. The rings are made from bone cells sampled from your wisdom teeth. The project is already successful but they're looking for more volunteer couples. Basically you and your significant other go in, donate your bone samples, where they will be cultivated in a lab to form different shapes. In time, they hope to create combinations of bone with metals like gold and platinum to elevate the design. When the ring is complete, you wear rings made from each other's cells - tethering you two together for life. The rings are lighter and much stronger than you think. It is real bone after all. Although kinda creepy, its fascinating where science (even when mad) can lead us.

Write And Send

This pen has a secret. It can transmit what you write as text messages. Wirelessly connected to your phone, just write down the name of your recipient and draw a circle around it. Man if I had one of these in school, tests would have been so much easier.

Glove Tracking

As a kid I was totally envious. . . okay jealous of Penny and her book computer. You know, Inspector Gadget's niece, or was it his daughter? Whateves. Point being I wanted some sort of mini computing device. Tho we live in a society of notebooks and smartphones, I really like the Vie - a GPS enabled pair of gloves. They help you keep track of your route, jog, and progress. They'll also send out an SOS should you get lost or come across a mountain lion while jogging on those trails that say, "beware of mountain lions".
